We're now seeking friendly well organised individuals wishing to make a real positive difference to the users of our very individualised care at home service in East Renfrewshire and Glasgow Southside.
Whilst previous experience is preferred it is not necessary as full training is provided. Students and those choosing to change careers are encouraged to apply.
Peoples Care Solutions is recruiting frontline home carers to support older people in their own homes across East Renfrewshire G46, G76, G77 (Newton Mearns, Clarkston, Busby, Giffnock.

Hours:

16 to 35 hours per week contracted.

Core Hours:
0730 to 1315 and 1345 to 2115 daily.
Location: East Renfrewshire (G77). Successful applicants should reside within 30 minutes for G77 and hold a full UK driving licence, and have access to own vehicle
Salary:

£13 95 per hour.

Enhanced rate £21.85 for 8 public holidays.

Job description: SENIOR CARE AT HOME CARER £29,300

Peoples Care Solutions is now looking for a frontline Senior Carer, reporting to our Care Coordinator, and working closely with the Team Leader, , who has previous relevant experience as a senior carer and who holds or is working towards SVQ 3 . They will demonstrate confidence to lead shifts and work closely with the office team to plan on supporting older people in their own homes across East Renfrewshire G46, G76, G77 (Newton Mearns, Clarkson, Busby, Giffnock).
You will genuinely want to make a positive difference to our service users in a truly person- centred way, while supporting our committed frontline carers.
And you will be an effective communicator and team player, at ease making decisions.
The Role:
-
Delivering and supervising personal care, mobility support, nutrition and skin care assistance, medication support in older people's own homes.

Carry out ON CALL/ out of hours duties every 4 weeks.
Responsibilities:
-
Work closely with the Care Coordinator and Team Leader in care at home services planning, care plans development and agreement and coordination of visits schedules.

Carry out scheduled visits to individuals in their own homes up to four times a day. Careful and support people enabling them to continue continue to live at home safely to maximise their independence

Develop professional relationships through mutual trust and communicating effectively. Be a committed frontline carers team player. Maintain required standards at all times. Ensure management are given timely feedback our frontline home carers are our eyes and ears.
Candidate specification:
-
Right to work in UK (We do not offer Sponsorship) .

Live within 30 minutes of G77.
-
Hold full UK driving licence with a car, and will require appropriate business insurance.
Contract:
-
35 hours per week. £15 hourly rate. Additional payment every 4 weeks for out of hours ON CALL duties.
